Donating Gifts to Youth
The value of your donation is tax-deductible. We will provide a donation receipt and send you a tax-deductible acknowledgment.
Gifts may be dropped off at an AFS Office Location Monday-Friday between 10:00 am-2:00 pm.

We Accept
Medical Supplies
We gratefully accept the following donations to help keep our staff and families safe.
- N95 masks
- disposable gloves
- sanitation wipes
- COVID-19 Rapid Tests
Infant Supplies
Most youth entering foster care come with no personal belongings. Year-round we graciously accept:
- diapers (any size)
- formula
- onesies (any size)
- baby care products
New Clothing
Donate NEW clothing (ages 0-18) and all gender items. We can NOT accept suitcases.
- socks
- jackets, scarves, gloves
- shoes
- sleeping bags, blankets
Hair Care Kits
As we serve mostly individuals of color, help us provide equitable support for kids with curly/kinky hair.
Hygiene Kits
- body wash/soap
- shampoo and conditioner
- body lotion/deodorant
- comb/brush/hair ties
- toothbrush/paste/mouthwash
- wash cloths
Seasonal Items
Education Equity (June-August)
You can support education equity for K-12 foster students by donating these items:
- Chromebooks
- Monetary donation
Holiday Gift Drive (November-December)
Each year we provide a gift for every child and teen in AFS care in Northern California as well as provide gift cards to families in need. You can help vulnerable youth and families by donating:
- NEW unwrapped toys and gifts (ages 0-13).
- $30+ gift cards for teens and young adults in our Transition Age Youth program
